Vinyasa Yoga classes now being held at Sheespcot Harbour Village & Resort near Boothbay Harbor, ME! Whether you are a resort guest or a local Maine resident we welcome you to join our classes!
Vinyasa Flow for all levels is a sequence of yoga poses with emphasis on aligning movements with the breath as a means of concentrating the mind and getting the full benefits of the yoga postures. Vinyasa Flow includes stretches, balances, and strengthening postures. There is also work with various breathing techniques, meditation practices, and guided visual imagery. This class is open to adults and teens. Practitioners of all levels are encouraged to attend; ample modifications, adjustments, and props will always be provided.
- Note: If you are experiencing an injury or chronic illness, please check with your physician before beginning this practice. If you feel your body requires modifications beyond the scope of a class that involves exploring balancing on one leg, forward bends, and moving to the floor and up many times, then please contact Beth with questions and concerns and consider a private lesson to assess your needs. Everyone can do Yoga; let’s explore what works for you.

Resort Pricing: $10 per class for public group class
Public Pricing: $12 per public group class, $50 for a five class package.
One Hour Private Lesson: $50 (can be split between 2 people).
Group Rates: Based on # of participants and duration of class.
Beth Jarvis received her yoga teacher training through Well Heart Yoga Teacher School. Though Beth is new to teaching yoga to adults, she has a long history of teaching yoga to children. Beth was a school teacher for 8 years and grew to respect and appreciate the amazing healing powers of yoga for children and teachers. Beth has also been a dancer since youth and, upon graduating college, she began a dance company and taught dance to children and adults for 5 years. Beth enjoys exploring fusions of dance and yoga in her practice.
