General Policies

The Sheepscot Harbour Village Resort is a unique lodging experience. The Village is comprised of an Inn, Condos, Cottages and Lodge Rooms.  Each unit and property is individually owned by people like yourself.  The owners welcome you to enjoy in the experiences of the Village and hope you have a great time while sharing their homes.  You must be 21+ years of age to check in to our resort.

Check-In:

Our check-in office is located at 306 Eddy Road, #101, Edgecomb, ME 04556. On Route 1, we are the first road to the right (at the blinking light) just north of the Wiscasset Bridge.  Please use 318 Eddy Rd, Edgecomb, ME 04556 for GPS/Google Search. Staff is available for check-in between 3:00 pm. and 6:00 pm.  Please check for our off-season check-in hours. Guest check-out is by 10:00 am.  No adjustments will be made to your reservation charges due to late arrival or early check-out.

If you will be arriving after open check-in, please call us the day of or day before your arrival. We will arrange a self check-in for your smooth arrival!

No refunds after check in for any reason.

Deposits:

One night’s stay is collected at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel your reservation up to 72 hours before your arrival, we will refund your initial deposit minus a cancellation fee of $25.  Cancellations that occur within 72 hours of your arrival will be charged your initial deposit as the cancellation fee.  If you choose to rebook your reservation to a later date you will not be charged the $25 cancellation fee.

Internet Access:

Our units have their own wireless access.

Occupancy:

Rates are based on Double Occupancy. For each additional guest in a room there is an additional fee of $30 per person per night. Children 5 and under stay Free. Maximum 4 per room.

Smoking Policy:

Smoking is NOT permitted in any of our accommodations. Thank you.

Pet Policy:

Sheepscot Harbour Village Resort offers pet friendly accommodations. However, not all units accept pets. Those that accommodate pets will accept dogs and have an additional charge of $25 (plus tax) per day per pet (2 dogs maximum). We do not require a security deposit, but any costs associated with damage or injuries caused by pet(s) are the responsibility of the pet owners. Pets are required to be leashed on the property and supervised in public areas at all times. For the safety of our housekeepers, pets are not allowed to be left alone in the room unless they are crated. Please, do not leave your pet unattended for extended periods of time. Please be mindful of your neighbors during your stay here. We ask that you clean up after your pet.

Security Deposit:

We require a valid credit card on file to guarantee your reservation and check in as security deposit from the guest staying in the room/unit. The credit card is held without regard to who may be paying for the rental. Any damage beyond normal wear will be charged accordingly. Should you pay with cash, your credit card will be pre-authorized as a security deposit.  Accepting these policies constitutes an acceptance of these charges if required.
