Good relaxing time The resort was clean and right on Sheepscot river. I didn't give a 5 because to get to the bathroom you have to go through the bedroom. There is only a microwave and fridge. Great location to hiking, Fort Edgecomb, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, and Wiscasset which has a has a Museum in the Streets tour which you can do on your own. I would recommend staying here. We never interacted with a service person which was fine with... read more
we enjoyed the place, bed was ok, and location was good to walk to other areas. room was setup in a way that light in the morning broadcasted into the room so it was difficult to sleep in because the curtains didn't block light. Uses a keypad entry instead of a key card so super simple.
Happy to Return This was our 2nd time staying in a studio for one week. Tabitha of housekeeping was great with her help. Studio was spotless and had all the basic kitchen equipment required. I would highly recommend the Water’s Edge onsite restaurant. Wonderful food and staff. Will return to the complex again.
Great location! We were delighted with our view from the Cottage we rented even though it was not right on the water. Our location was in a good central spot to go antiquing. Unfortunately, a lot of places were closed for the season so plan your trip accordingly!
Beautiful any time of year! This was our third time staying at the Sheepscot Harbor Village Resort and we will be back. We love this property and the proximity to Damariscotta and Wiscasset where there are fabulous restaurants and things to do!
PS - the mattress was heavenly - some of the best sleep I've had all year!
late fall in Maine The apartment was spotless and everything was as described. There are no door keys so a minor issue was trying to remember the very long code to be put into the lock to open the door. You had to have a photo of it on your phone. The location was near to the highway and with easy access to restaurents. It is a beautiful area.
We absolutely LOVED this place. It was a bit difficult getting luggage to the rooms, but the quality, comfort, and cleanliness of the rooms far made up for that!
It was so serene and beautiful. Lots to do that we didn't have enough time for. Definitely recommend!!
(Obviously didn't take enough pictures of this place!)
View is lovely. Room was nice. Clean. Grounds are pretty. Toilet paper holder was in pieces. Coffee maker had a used K cup in it and only one full K cup available...and no cups to put coffee in. Desk not staffed after 5 pm.
Rented a cottage very nice. 1st day there was garbage left in the kitchen take out so we had to empty because who wants to smell that.
Then the breakers kicked the next night poor guy came out and show us where they were he could have phoned that one in .
Beautiful place did enjoy our time there we took care of ourselves though if you want housekeeping stay elsewhere
Family stay at Sheepscot The room was comfortable and clean, with great views over the river. Good wifi and TV. Easy parking.
Small things could have been improved, like ensuring the room had the correct number of towels supplied for the number of guests, plus a working toaster.
Breakfast vouchers given for use at Woodsong Market, just across the road. Who serve great coffee and tea and have a good selection of baked goods. Definitely worth visiting, lovely owners!

Neither of our rooms had sufficient towels or wash cloths, but after that was sorted out we had a fine stay. The fact that the front desk is only available until 5pm is odd.
Incredible staff and management Was in town for a family event and had some unfortunate circumstances happen and multiple staff members including the general manager helped me and were life savers. Everything about our stay was memorable and we even were able to use the pool of their other nearby property a mile up the road. Thank you Willliam and Haleigh!
