" Very comfortable accomodations, particularly the bed! Having stayed recently at an RCI property with a rock-hard mattress, the wonderful king size bed here was absolutely luxurious. Well-appointed mini-kitchen. My one complaint is that we could hear every footstep of the folks in the unit above us. As for the property, it would have "
" My boyfriend and I stayed at this resort and found the staff couldn't be friendlier. Tyler and Amy really made our stay by giving us information on the attractions and roads to travel for the view. They were very friendly with us and other guests...More "
" Went to kill time share points. Very clean comfortable. The beds were great. Had a partial kitchen which had microwave big frig toaster oven and electric pan. All dishes and glasses. Relaxing awesome view. Not a lot to do in the winter. But we wandered to some shops and had some great meals. Then came back and relaxed "
" Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens held their end of the year staff gathering here in January and the location was wonderful. We enjoyed a stunning sunset from the expansive windows throughout our event. The food, staff and space were ideal for our group. Thank you for your hospitality. "
" There are several lodging options at this hotel. We stayed in the Lodge which has some pet-friendly units. First floor units have a patio and you can walk right out to the dock. Downside is that you have to walk much farther to unload your car. The second floor units have balconies and the rear door leads right out the the parking ar "
" 2 bedroom cottage #19 has 1 full bath in Master, half bath in living area. Master is King 2nd bedroom is queen. Beautiful porch overlooking the water. 1 parking spot by unit. We very much enjoyed our stay. "
" This resort is right where the sun sets over the River. It's lovely. Only downside are the traffic lights/noise on nearby bridge. We have been here several times and always enjoy the area. You need a car for everything except crossing the bridge to Wiscasset for restaurants, galleries, historic architecture and shopping. Not the best "
" We stayed here for five days. Very comfortable When a couple of things needed to be taken care of they IMMEDIATELY took care of it Amy ,at the office was so friendly it was fun talking with her . When we are in the area again we will plan to stay there. By the way the view of the river was beautiful !! "
" My wife and I stayed for four nights. Our room was large, very comfortable and well-equipped. Gayle and Amy at the front desk were helpful with both the room and other arrangements. We’ll be back and stay there again. "
" We were vacationers, in Edgecomb on an RCI timeshare exchange. Having seen rather negative reviews under Sheepscot's previous owners, we weren't quite sure what to expect. It didn't take long to appreciate the commitment that the new owners/managers have to excellence. Still in their first year, I can imagine more amenities (which wo "
" This place is a cute collection of little cottages that is nestled in beautiful pines right on the harbor. If you are looking for a quite place for couples this is the place. Many things to do like kayaking, strolling in town, antiquing, and taking in the near by cities, lighthouses, and national parks like Acadia "
" We had a team of over 30 crew working on a movie in the area. Gayle was very helpful in setting us all up. The rooms were amazing with great views. Very comfortable suites all around. I checked out all 30 different rooms and houses and was impressed with how every single one was adorable and cozy. I could have stayed here for several "
" The room we stayed in (313 in the Inn) was lovely. Very clean, attractive, had the view of the river that I had anticipated, a balcony with two chairs and a table, and a tub with jets that worked perfectly. Although we didn't really use any other aspect of the resort, the room alone deserves the stars I gave it. I should also mention "
" We stayed at the Inn. The room was adorably decorated and the bathroom was spacious with nice, thick towels. We loved having our morning coffee on our own private balcony. The amenities of wifi and a smart tv were also pluses in our opinion. "
" We had a wonderful time. Gayle went above and beyond to accommodate us making personal visits to solve questions about the house and even to find us salad dressing! We never felt rushed though arrived early and stayed late. The rooms and the cottage were beautiful— neat, clean and new. We all agreed we’d think to come back with our f "
" Our accommodations far exceeded are expectations! Our room was very clean and comfortable with French country charm. The bed was super comfortable and the towels & linens were very high end. The front desk personnel were so very welcoming and helpful....it was like coming home! We loved it! "

" We were in Maine on vacation with my parents and my in-laws. We were visiting Pemaquid Lighthouse and wanted to stay somewhere halfway between the lighthouse and Portland. Found this hotel and booked just one night. Got there about an hour before sunset. We were blown away by the location, our gorgeous remodeled rooms AND the perfect "
" The room was very nice and clean. It was a studio unit with a nice queen-size bed. However, when I arrived, I noted that the fire alarm system was in a trouble condition, and some of the fire doors were wedged open because holders didn't work. They tried to fix the issues, but doors stayed wedged open all week. "
" My husband and I came her for a 3 day weekend with our dogs. We really enjoyed our stay. Nice and quiet with a lit up pier at night for a romantic walk. This was the dogs first trip and they did very well. "
" Gorgeous location with clean and attractive cottages and rooms. We had a great experience and pleasant interactions with the friendly and helpful staff. I would stay here again when visiting this part of Maine! Room Tip: I believe most rooms have balconies and some face the water- can check for this during room/cottage... See more "
" We stayed in a single bedroom unit with full kitchen facilities sited right on the water with easy access to resturants and other shopping venues. go for the lobster rolls that are famous in that area as well an antique shops with authentic area goodies. "
" I have been visiting Maine for 50 years. I often noticed this resort when crossing the bridge at Wiscasset. I said for years that I would like to stay there sometime. That sometime finally came this summer (August 2018). What took me so long? It was better than expected! I loved my stay! Location is perfect to visit other parts of Ma "
" Very nice accommodations and friendly, helpful staff. Perfect location for exploring mid-coast Maine, less than 30 minutes from Bath, Damariscotta, Boothbay Harbor and just across the bridge from Wiscasset. "
" Stayed at the Sheepscot Resort, Aug 5-8, 2018 in suite 201. The suite was perfect size for a couple!! No view, but it states that, but just a few steps away from a stunning view of the Sheepscot River. Was able to walk out on the pier & enjoyed the beautiful scenery. You can't go wrong staying here!! Will definitely return! Room Ti "
" My hubby desperately wanted to check off Red's Eats Lobster roll from his bucket list and I couldn't find any regular chain hotel nearby. I reserved a room at Sheepscot Harbour Village Resort and kept my fingers crossed. We got lucky! The complex is across the river from Red's Eats. One may walk across the bridge or take their car. W "
" Well I will say to the VT review I did stay in room 215 and it wasn’t noisy. You are correct that it does not have a view, but there are so many places to walk and sit, watch the sunrise, sunset that we didn’t have a problem with the view. The staff were wonderful we used our time share as a home base and we traveled. Every morning w "
" Stayed at Sheepscot July 2018 for four days. New owners are very accommodating. Our room had just been renovated (Room 306 at the Inn) and it was decorated in lovely coastal colors and décor. Room was set up well and clean. Loved the deck with Adirondack chairs and the best view of the river! Big fluffy bath towels were a plus. Roo "
" Wonderful view of the water. The location is very convenient to other small towns and very good restaurants. Small kitchenette was very efficient with very new and modern appliances. The air-conditioner worked perfectly. The bathroom is modern and nice. Very convenient parking. King size bed was very comfortable with high-quality lin "
" This is an adorable well kept cottage village right on the waterfront. Unlike some time shares that have a very uniform resort feel, what you'll get on a 2 bedroom RCI exchange is a cottage nestled into the middle of personally held cottages. The neighboring cottages are full of personality. The neighbors are very very friendly and t "
" We stayed at the lodge, unit 203. As we understand it, many of these units are individually owned. Our unit was very cute, well furnished with comfy furniture and two queen beds and a pull out couch. It's a very large size unit with a small kitchen: small fridge/freezer, microwave, sink. Unlike what I've read, this unit actually has "
" We are happy to report that the Sheepscot Harbor Village Resort met our every expectation! Friendly staff, exceptionally clean room with great views of the Sheepscot River and downtown Wicasset, Maine across the river which provided an excellent vantage point to view an amazing fireworks display on the 4th of July! " I recently attended a weekend wedding at this gorgeous resort. The staff were amazing, views were gorgeous and the venue was clean. The food was delicious. I am already planning a second weekend here with friends! "
" Perfect location and beautiful resort! Close to Boothbay Harbor. Lots of shopping and great seafood! Lobster rolls galore. Wisscassett diner has the breakfast. Lots of taverns and pubs can be found in this area too "
" Stayed in cottage #801, which is on the highest spot overlooking the resort, Sheepscot River and quaint town of Wiscassett, across the river. Checked in to an IMMACULATE unit, New Restoration Hardware towels (very plush) and upscale toiletries. We were fortunate enough to meet the new Owners & Management staff, Scott, Matt & Gail, al "
" Thank you, Matt, for your exceptional service. We loved our second stay at cottage #501. So amazing. Towels and sheets fantastic and plentiful. Kitchen HUGE. We eat most meals in when we stay at a condo/cottage. Reading loft just so special. Sunsets came in through front windows. Gorgeous. We’ve only been on off season, so pool and f "
